How to request deletion

Submit a deletion request

Email us from the address associated with your Sleepnosis account at info@sleepnosis.com.
Include the subject line Account Deletion Request.
For verification, include:
- Your full name (if provided in-app)
- The email address used to sign in
- Optional: Your user ID (UID) from the app’s Profile/Settings, if available
We’ll confirm your identity and process the request.

What gets deleted

Data that will be removed

Account credentials stored in Firebase Authentication (email, display name if provided, and associated user identifier/UID).
User profile document in Firestore (e.g., users/{uid}), including fields such as subscription status, trial metadata, etc.
App activity linked to your account, such as Favorites and Recently Played entries stored in Firestore.
Other app-stored personal data directly tied to your account (if any).

Data that may be retained temporarily

System logs & backups may persist for up to 90 days for security, fraud prevention, and disaster recovery. They are automatically purged on a rolling basis and are not used to identify you.
Legal, billing, or compliance records may be retained where required by law.

Timing & security

Processing timeline

We strive to complete deletion within 30 days after verifying your request.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Identity verification

We can only accept requests sent from the same email address used for your Sleepnosis account (or with proof you control that mailbox).

Change your mind?

If you reply to the same email thread before we confirm completion, we can cancel the deletion request.
After deletion completes, recovery isn’t possible.

Alternatives

Delete some data without deleting your account

If you prefer to remove specific data (e.g., Favorites or Recently Played) without deleting your entire account, contact us at support@sleepnosis.com and specify what you’d like removed.

Note: Partial deletion options may be limited by technical or legal constraints.
